High Altitude
This photograph presents New York City from above, transforming one of its busiest intersections into a study of movement, light, density, and scale. From this elevated perspective, streets become illuminated pathways, and buildings form a geometric framework around the activity below. Cars, pedestrians, storefronts, and artificial light converge into a scene that feels both highly structured and constantly in motion.
The image is part of my ongoing exploration of New York and the visual relationships that emerge when familiar places are viewed from unexpected perspectives. Rather than documenting the city only at street level, I wanted to create an image that captures the magnitude of Manhattan while preserving the small details that reveal the life taking place within it.
